The RAP Foundation is establlshed by constitutlon as a Charltable Incorporated Organlsation
("CIO") and its governing document Is based on the Charlty Comrnlssion's model governing
document for a CIO. It was registered wlth the Charlty Commlsslon of England and Wales
on 24July 2019.
Charftable Objertlves
As defined in The RAP Foundation's Constitution, the chariV5 objects are:
To preserve and protect the good physlcal and mental health of young people through the
provision of workshops and presentations in the subject of relationship and sex education
so that they are better able to make their own informed decisions about their relationships,
behaviour. actions and safety.
Trustee Selectlon Metho&
There must be at least three Trustees and the maximum number of Trustees is 12.
In accordance with the Constrtution. Trustees are appointed or re-appointed for a term of
three years by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the chartty Trustee5.
In appointin8 Trustees due consideratlon is given to ensuring that the Trustees have.
between them, the skills and experience needed for the effective administration of the CIO.

The Trustees have ensured that they have complied wlth section 17 of the Charities Act
2022 with due regard to public benefft and are happy that they are continulng to provide
Charitsble services to the community.

Achlevements and Perfomiance
Th15 financlal year wa5 a year of revlew and change for The RAP Foundatlon. We wekomed
Jessica Hawley as our new CEO and her Inltlal focus was a reconslderatlon of our general
strate8y and approach, a refresh of our web51te, a revlew and redlrectlon of our social
media strategy and, as a consequence of th15 work, a full revlew and rework of our
presentations.
Like many other small charltle5 In the UK, It has been Increaslngly more difficult to secure
funding due to both intense competltlon for a Ilmlted amount of funds and a challenging
economic environment. In addition, we operate wlth Ilmlted resources, relying often on the
goodwill of those who know and have experlence of the charlty. Furthermore, navigating
the complex landscape of grant applications without experlenced fundralsers or funds to
dedicate to fundraising has been increasingly challen8ing. We are unbellevably grateful to
the various individuals and foundations that continue to support our work and have made
funds available to us in the 25126 financial year, in order to enable us to continue our much-
needed work.
In addition to this, our new CEO has worked hard to reconnect with our existing schools and
build new relationships, focussing on the more deprived local London boroughs. In previous
years. we regularly r￿1Ved donations from schools themselves, which contributed towards
the costs of presenter fees. However, stattrmaintained schools are facing ever tighter
budgets and have been unable to donate in the same way as previously. This has had the
knock-on effect of an Increased reliance on third party grant fundin&
Whilst our direct actlvty in schools has been reduced this year, our social media p￿sence
has signrficantly increased. As well as enhancing our Instagram presence, The RAP
Foundation now has a nkTok account. One of our posts alone, relatin8 to the various
discussions following the s¢reenlng of the BBC drama Adolescence. had viewing5 in excess of
80k Raislng awareness through soclal media Is very much part of our ongolng strate&i.
Going forwards, we are exdted to bulld on our contacts and relationships with London
boroughs and London schools and are hopeful of 8rowlng our direct artivity in schools once
again. Our work contlnues to be highly relevant, and the followlng are examples of

discussion and allowed us to think critlcally about the Importance ol consent mutual respect
and self-awarene5S.'

Flnandal Revlew
Total Income for the year was £5,65012024: £15,663), and total expÈnses for the year were £19,971 {2024:
£32,244) resultlng in a net deflclt for the year of £14,32112024: £16,581). All receipts and expenditure
were unrestricted fund5.
At the year end, the CIO had net Ilabllltles of £9,40612024: net assets £4,915).
The trustees confirm that whllst at the year end the CIO had net Ilablllties, this situation was reversed
following the year end. In addition, there were no outstandlng guarantees to third parties, nor any debts
secured on the assets of the CIO.
Risk Mana8ement
The trustees are satisfied that the CIO does not face any sl8nfficant risks.
Plans for the Future
The CIO plans to continue achievin8 its objects in accordance with its constitution.
Reserves Pollcy
The Charl￿5 policy on reserves is to generate and maintain a balance which is sufficient to cover such
items as working capital, unforeseen unavoidable expenditure or an unexpected cessation of income. At
the present time, thi5 is deemed to be a minimum of £1,000. As the CIO expands its activities, this figure
will be reviewed.
