For the period ended 31[st] December 2020.
## **Objectives & Activities**
The objective of the Trust is: for the public benefit, to preserve and maintain as a space open to the public and as a fitting setting for St. Nicholas Church Thelnetham the lands contiguous to the said Church known as the Thelnetham Glebelands.
The activities of the Trust are geared to providing Public Access to a naturally and safely maintained space throughout the Year.
## **Achievements & Performance.**
The Glebe has been maintained in a steady state and the Public have been able to enjoy access throughout the year, without restriction. £780 was spent on tree maintenance work.
## **Financial Review.**
Receipts and payments accounts are provided on the adjoining pages. In its first 14 months of operation the Trust recorded a deficit of £2,759; this is largely attributable to non-recurring legal costs arising from the conversion of the pre-existing trust into a CIO of £3,311. In 2021, anticipated revenues of £2,250, should be available to carry out maintenance and conservation works. Cash reserves at period end amounted to £2,996 i.e. some 21 months revenue. Given the increased frequency of severe weather events and the age of some of the trees on the land, it is prudent for the Trustees to maintain a buffer of this order for contingencies.
## **Structure, Governance and Management.**
The Trust is a Charitable Incorporated Organization registered with and regulated by the Charity Commission. Its governance procedures follow the applicable Charity Commission model document with minor modifications. Trustees are recruited from those with links to local or church communities.
