SLA was developed thjring a period of grch¥ing interest In Social Prescribing ISP) in
Derbyshlre, supported by the Social Prescribing A(fvIS￿ Group {SPAG) chaired by the
Integrated Care Board IICB). Despite SP'S p)tertial to imrxove health and well-bein8, the
system faced challenges such as siloed piannirY4, lack of visibility, acCO￿tablI11y, aTrJ
support for practitioners. Arts Derbyshire, in collaboration with Derbyshire County
Councll's PLblic Health Lkpartment, aimed to address these challenges through creatlve
and experlmental approactr*s.

The SLA was divided into three main strafwjs:

COVID.19 pandemlc. addressing the enyjti￿al toll on Link Workers. The manifesto ain*d
to amplify their voices, provoke dlalogue* and alfvocate systemic swport and equity In
SP. It recelved national recognition from cAganizations like NH5 EnglarKI, Arts Council
Ensland, and the Natlonal AS￿)ciation for Sc£iai Prescribing.
