TREASURER NOTES

  1. We are extremely grateful to all our members who have continued to support us by paying their annual subscriptions especially to those who have signed gift aid forms refund for 2023/4 £505

  2. Donations : Sunday visitors - £721; Pre-booked private visits - £1465; MHAS members £226; Annual donation Don Ehrenburg £357; Longfields - Seckford Hall D Day Event - £2,126; Legacy William Curtis £190.

  3. We have raised over £750 for MHAS by selling items from store not required for display where owner is not known or untraceable.

  4. 2023/4 Grant of £2245 from East Suffolk for painting the Control Tower - work carried out and expenditure in 2024/5 accounts

  5. Increase in Bank of England base rate gives us a great income from Nat West Accounts

  6. The museum is open every Wednesday morning when a working group maintain the Control Tower and grounds.and refreshments are provided.

  7. Utility Contract expired 30.11.23 - new contract with considerably higher rates agreed [ expiry 30.11.26

  8. The total cost of painting the Control Tower was £4,490 - offset by grant from East Suffolk and 50% contribution from MHHL cost to MHAS £1,122.50; Painting the stairwell and landing cost £2,145; A weather vane was purchased to commemorate William Curtis,
