Their presence helped us achieve our goal as we continue to build and encourage the local tennis community within the area with their help. Also thanks to all who contributed to providing items sent to Kodian Tennis Foundation in Nigeria to help with the free kids tennis and education program

Achievements and Performance

Para 1.20	We are more than grateful to have continued with our healthy lifestyle through sports projects for adults and kids. It was necessary to progress with these sporting community activities that did bring people together as well as propagate the healthy lifestyle within the community. With theses in mind we were able to organize the following 1) Provided tennis meetups, coaching and training for adults and kids at Plumstead Common Tennis Courts through the year This was well received and a lot of fun for all involved as it created interaction, exercise and new knowledge for the kids about how sports can be a career option 2) Organised the following tennis tournaments for adults in the Community FOR ADULTS a) 1 Day Tiebreak Blitz in March b) Hood Spring and Summer Slam (SSS) from April to July

c) Hood Tennis Masters Tournament August to October FOR KIDS 1) Kids Play Tennis Programme at Plumstead Common tennis Court. This was a FREE 1day a week, 6months coaching/mentoring program, from April to September, with the kids having a tournament on the final day where prizes and gifts were awarded to all that performed well 2) Kids Play tennis Program Abbeywood This was a FREE 1 day a week, 8 weeks Kids training program to introduce kids tennis to the area 3) The Charity was also able to organize the following Events a) The Hood Picnic: Where locals were invited to join in the fun during the summer b) Hood Tennis Raffle Draw 4) The Charity continued to work with the local council to improve sporting programs, making sporting locations more user and people friendly as well as getting involved in local community events 5)This year we also helped the kids at Kodian Tennis foundation in Nigeria with some Tennis Equipment as they were packaged and shipped over Our support to that Foundation, has helped bring in more kids in the sport, taking them off the streets and providing some sense of direction
