Achievements and Performance

Para 1.20	With the necessary uplift of both Plumstead Common Tennis Courts in Plumstead and Bostall Gardens Tennis Courts in Abbeywood, these are now safer and more convenient locations to teach the game to kids and attract more interest. It has certainly enhanced the opportunity of bringing people together, creating more awareness about the sport as well as propagate the healthy lifestyle within the community. With theses in mind we were able to organize the following 1) Provided tennis meetups, coaching and training for adults and kids at Plumstead Common Tennis Courts through the year This was well received and a lot of fun for all involved as it created interaction, exercise and new knowledge for the kids about how sports can be a career option 2) Organised the following tennis activities for adults and kids FOR ADULTS a) 1 Day Tiebreak Blitz in March b) Danny’s Cup in April c) The Hood Spring and Summer Slam

(SSS) from April to June d) Hood Tennis Masters Tournament August to October e) Ladies Community Tennis every Sunday Evening from Spring to Summer f) Improvers Community Tennis Every Saturday morning Spring to Summer FOR KIDS KIDS PLAY TENNIS PLUMSTEAD Sponsored TESCO GROUNDWORKS This was a Sunday evening event that ran for 1 month bring the game of tennis to the kids in Plumstead 3) The Charity was also able to organize the following Events a) Hood Tennis Raffle b) Hood Picnic 4) The Charity was also heavily involved in making sure the local community residents get free access to the newly refurbished courts in the area at certain times through the week 5)This year we again helped the kids at Kodian Tennis foundation in Nigeria with some Tennis Equipment as they were packaged and shipped over Our support to that Foundation, has helped bring in more kids in the sport, taking them off the streets and providing some sense of direction We would look to help kids in Uganda as well next year

We also definitely learnt a lot from organizing these events and plan to make improvements towards next financial year
