The objects of the CIO are to establish and run
Community facility incorporating a communal
open Space and a Children's play area for the
benefit of the Inhabitants of the Parish of
Rothersthorpe, Northampton5hire without
distinctlon of sex, sexual orientation, age,
disability, nationality, race or political, teligious
or other opinions the provislon of facilltles for
recreatlon or other leisure tlme occupation of
individuals who have need of such facilities by
reason of thelr youth, age, infirmity or
disablement, financial hardshlp or social and
economlc circumstances or for the public at
large In the interests of social welfare and wlth
the object of Improvin8 the conditions of life of
the said Inhabitants.
Dickens Field Trust activity throughout this
repoting period has primarily been focused on
maintenance of the site In order to ensure its
contlnued use by the communlty of
Rothersthorpe.

Volunteers support 15 Vital to the trust. both
directly engaged in the development and
management of the site and in raising funds.
Volunteers have been involved in tree plantin&
hard landscaping, and local fund raisin8
including assisting with the village dog show

an annual Christmas Meat raffle.
Volunteers hove provided feedback on play
equipment and supported the initial set up and
ongoing maintenance of the site infrastructure.

A quieter year for the trust mainly fo¢sed on
maintenance on the site. This includes
continual inspections of the play equipment
and ground work on the wider site. Two x
additional benches have been placed within
the chlldren's play equipment area, one a
personal dedicatlon and one a klnd donatlon
though funds raised at a specific event.

The site remains open and fund raising
continues in order to fund malntenance,
Inspections and Insurance.

Fundralsln8 will always be required in order to
ensure the site can remain open. Our dog
show had to be curtalled slightly this year due
to extreme heat but the village still came out in
force to run a successful fayre and funds raised
remained at normal levels. Fund5 have been
sent thls reporting year on Insurance, plav
equipment inspectlon, a mower and strimmer
to 5UPPOrt maintenance.
