Dickens Field officially opened on 25th Sep after the installation of children's play equipment funded in part by the community and grants obtained from local / national bodies. After 12 years of effort the Dickens Yield was officially opened by Mrs Jennifer Dickens on 9th Oct 22. This followed final works by West Northants Council to install a 30m footpath connecting the field to the village. and work by the trust to install the site entrance, an 80m Internal path and the children's play equipment. The site was temporarlly closed over wlnter in order to allow the ground to recover. and re-opened In time for Easter.
