OBJECTIVES:
Having no dementia facility in Cornwall, our obiectrve is to open a facility to cater for the residents in
Cornwall. To acquire land and build a purpose built Dementia facility with 35 bed residen
complete wtth all the essential facets but also induding extra's such as a sensory room, activities
centre, café and treatment suite.
Five of the beds would be equipped with stepdown beds to provide regular communty care {Respite
or Acute)-
We are continually looking for people to join us to take this vision forward.
We propose at our meetings ways of promottng the charity localty. by attend various events
including the rotsry club. Helston BovAing Club, individuals. Doctors surgeries. undertakers. to
promote for donations or to include us in any Wills. We al have c4)Ilection boxes in various
locations throughout Helston.
Although fund raising has been very slow. we endeavour to promote the charty within our area. but
we hope to increase our presence in the future.
MEEnNGS
A% trustees, we attend rneeting which are arranged every 6 weeks approximately. to discuss the
previous minutes meeting and set out new ideas for the future.
CAPITAL RAISING
We are continuously looking at all options to increase income including Amazon and local counal
where on occasM)ns we receive ynall donation&
FUTURE GOALS
To encourage people to donate localty, and various future fund raising events ie car boot sales etc
ASPIRATIONS
To look at all options to substantially irKrease the amount of income to move the goal closer.
Although it has been very slow on fvnd raising we hope to aspire and increase fund raisin& aNI
looking to hold variou5 Christmas event in December 2024.
