## **Objectives and activities** 

The Justin Fashanu Foundation exists to tackle homophobia in sport, promote equality and inclusion for LGBTQ+ people, and support young people in achieving their potential regardless of background or identity. 

## **Achievements and performance** 

Although no income or expenditure occurred during the year, the charity continued to work towards its aims through advocacy, awareness, and volunteer engagement. 

## **Financial review** 

The charity received no income and incurred no expenditure during the reporting period. No reserves are held at year-end. 

## **Reserves policy** 

The trustees aim to maintain sufficient funds to support future charitable activities once income generation resumes. 

## **Plans for future periods** 

The charity intends to continue its mission of promoting inclusion and tackling discrimination in sport by seeking partnerships and funding opportunities in the coming year. 

## **Structure, governance and management** 

The charity is constituted as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and is governed by its constitution adopted in 2019. Trustees meet as required to oversee operations and compliance with Charity Commission regulations. 

## **Statement of trustees’ responsibilities** 

The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees’ Annual Report and accounts in accordance with applicable law and the Charities SORP (FRS 102).
