1) To advance their physical education by providing facilities and coaching for football; and

Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
This was our first full year of operation after two years’ of restrictions associated with the Covid 19 pandemic.
In the previous year we experienced sharply increasing demand for sporting activities for children and young people following prolonged household confinements during Covid.
The trustees took a strategic decision to invest from our reserves to meet this growing need and expand the number of beneficiaries we serve from 300 to 450.
As we saw no easing of demand, the trustees decided to continue our strategy of expansion, investing further from our reserves to further scale up our operations to serve 550 beneficiaries.
To support this, we decided to reduce our reserves close to our minimum threshold of £3,000.
Our income in the period was £138,051, principally from subscriptions. Our expenditure was £145,358.
This represents a net investment of £7,306, similar to the previous year. Consequently, our reserves reduced to £3,005.

Section E Financial review
Broadly speaking, we choose to invest the vast majority of surplus Brief statement of the income in activity, kit and equipment that benefits our users. However, as charity’s policy on reserves our main site (rented from a school) is prone to flooding, we aim to keep a minimum of £3,000 cash in reserve for the additional costs this can incur in hiring alternative venues etc.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/08/2022.
- Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
