**Objects:** (A)TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE AREA OF BARROW-IN-FURNESS, SOUTH AND WEST CUMBRIA THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT BY RECYCLING UNWANTED DOMESTIC APPLIANCES AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD COMMODITIES.(B)THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN BARROW-IN-FURNESS, SOUTH AND WEST CUMBRIA BY:(I)THE SALE OF RECYCLED UNWANTED DOMESTIC APPLIANCES AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD COMMODITIES TO PEOPLE ON LOW INCOMES, AND;(II)THE PROVISION OF WORK PLACEMENT, TRAINING AND VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES TO ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE OR PEOPLE IN POVERTY TO ASSIST THEM IN RETURNING TO WORK OR GAINING EMPLOYMENT.

**Activities:** Providing low cost white goods to the disadvantaged in the Barrow-in-Furness, South & West Cumbria areas, being based in Central Ward in Barrow (the 23rd most deprived district in England). Extra discounts are given for those on benefits & pensioners. We work with local groups to better assist those in need. We offer training & work placement opportunities to the long term unemployed.
