## **Achievements and Performance**

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its be-<br>neficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|**During the year under review the char-**<br>**ity’s main achievements were:**<br>**We have been able to continue support-**<br>**ing the small increase in teachers salar-**<br>**ies to ensure the children have the best**<br>**educational provision.**<br>**One off donations during the year has**<br>**supplemented our usual income. To en-**<br>**able us to provide the following:**<br>**A new printer and stationary for the**<br>**school.**<br>**21 new mattresses for the children’s**<br>**house.**<br>**We have also funded an improvement in**<br>**the boys compound and accommoda-**<br>**tion by replacing the windows to protect**<br>**the children from mosquitos.**<br>**We have also increased the height of the**<br>**security wall, protecting the safety of**<br>**the children in our care.**<br>**In light of new operating guidelines in**<br>**Kalagi we funded the installation of a**<br>**new CCTV network at The Fathers Chil-**<br>**dren School.**<br>**In July 2023, we helped financially sup-**<br>**port The Fathers Children School sports**<br>**day. This is a large community event**<br>**and enables feeding for extended famil-**<br>**ies and guardians.**<br>**In January we were awarded a grant**<br>**from The Souter Trust to purchase 5**<br>**new computers to allow the school to**<br>**expand their computer studies.**|
