**Hornsea Men in Sheds Cliff Road Hornsea** ## **HU18 1JB** ## **hornseameninsheds@gmail.com** ## **– Report for the Charity Commission covering the period August 2021 to July 2022** Our charity has enjoyed a slightly easier time since the reduction of Covid restrictions and our membership has steadily increased. We have continued to accept donations of furniture, both for renovation and providing used furniture into the local community. The income we have generated from these activities has enabled us to continue with improvements within the shed and increase the awareness of our presence within the community. This has resulted in an increased footfall to the shed, both for our membership and activities to generate income to help us continue. The variety of activities undertaken has continued to grow, with produce from the polytunnel, electric car racing, and pottery, together regular craft fairs. We have been able to provide a service to the local council by the manufacture of bunting used around the town for the Queens jubilee, together with several in house made items. Rising running costs continue be an item of concern and plans are in place to install a log burner in the main workshop to reduce the reliance on electric heating.
