**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:(1) TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF SUFFERERS OF PHENYLKETONURIA (PKU) THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE AND IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES CONSIDER APPROPRIATE; (2) ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELATING TO PKUNOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THEPURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEEINVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
