TCF Loniinues to einploy Oiles Iliggins on ihe basis of a 0.6 contract (21 hours per week) 10 lead
the church and oversee its vatious ministries and aciiviiies. Giles leads the tcain of elders and
alii'ays works in liaison wilh the Trustees. Giles is also a I'rustee and Chair of Trustees.
2. The 2 elders Gilcs Eliggins and I lannes Kerr-Gold (also a Trustee) Inet on average once every 2-3
ii'eeks for ihe purpose of effective spiritual Icadership, oversight of ministries, pastoral care and
ouircach. This team functioned well, strengthened by working closely together with iheir wives,
Sarali and Alison respectively.
3. The Trustees functioned well together in overseeing all matters of finance, legal compliance and
governance. Thcy mei 3 times in Ihis period and used WhatsApp cxtensively for dis¢ussion and
decisions regarding seilleral important matters.
4. TCF is a Christcentral church and is one of 8 churches in Shropshire, Staffordshire & Derbyshire
belonging to that group (see hitps'.lILhrisi¢¢nLralchurcli¢s.or￿. Giles and the leaders of the oiher
7 churchcs inet and supportcd one anothcr ei'ery other month on average for partnership, support
and oveisight. Giles also helped to del'elop aclive relationships with the other 3 Shropshire church
leaders, funciioning as necessary additional support.

news sharing and the building of the Christian Communiry.

l. Prayer ineeiings throughout Ihc year, every Sunday evening. Prayer meetings ar¢ considcrcd a
major pan of the backbone of Ilie church du¢ to the positive effecis experienced by many. The
atiendance has been con8lStenrly higher than in previous years.
2. Tliree Home groups all year and a fourth group started in November 2023. These provide essential
fellowship, suppon and encourag¢m¢nt for committ¢d members and other attenders. Much
friendship building and pastoral care ￿keS place within all groups.
3. Bible study group, Inceting weekly on Tuesday mornings

some not. l-liis includcd home and hospit21 visiis. provision of a substantial number of meals as
well as helping people in the contcxt of church Ineetings. For some Ihe pastoral care meetings
were regular, for others they were one-off meetings. The level of pastoral care given remains high
as we ende2vour to look after Ihose in need.
In-depth encouragement and help given lo many in their personal development as Christians who
arc Inaking a differcnce through their lives. This is not giwing remedial help but helping people
vho are secure becoming even stronger and more fruitful for the benefit of those in the church and
to thc local Community.
Thc Junior TCF team have been serving the ¢hildren every Sunday through the year. The number
of children regularly attending the church increased in this period.

2. Support of 2 Christian couple and their team in the Middle East - seeking io bring the Christian
ospel to people in the heart of the Middle Easi. Suppon is boih financial and through the
circulation of newsletters to interested partics in the church.
3. Financial support of other organisaiions seeking to advance the Christian Gospel and serve the poor,
e.g. STA Y Telford, C.A.P. Telford and Christcentral Churches. We are pleased 10 report that the
church's gi￿]ng is Inore than the iarget of l 00/0 of overall income.
4. We help 1¢2d Daii-.Icy Restrooin Felloivship- a group for mainly elderly, local people for worship,
leaching and fellowship. This included organising and leading a civic Remembrance Service in
November 2023, attended by many local civic dignitaries.
5. Carol Services for TC,F and Da￿,]eY Restroom and Carol singing for the Dawley Communiiy
Chrisimas light switch on event.
6. Fuundaiions course for teaLhing, discipling and mentoring of meinberq.
7. Worship team oatherin<* togcthcr approximately once per 2 months to strength¢n rhe worship aspect
of ihe Church.
8. Leadership attending training events held on Zoom and in-ptrson hosted by Christcentral
Churches. Thesc werc for Leadersliip training, TheologEcal instruction and encouragement
generally- totalling 10 in the ycar.

Tl)e piocess to change the church name started in February 2023, engaging the
scrvices of a reputable company to create a new loun and website. DurinLv this ye&r the new logo
and ￿'ebSite was Ci'eated. greatly enhancing our on-line presence. Additionally, we enhanced our
on-line prcscnce on diffei'ent social media platfonns, i.e. YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and
Tik-l ok. The required changes were made with the Charity Commission, HMRC and other key
bodies.

The charity's Irustees are responsible for the preparation of the aceounrs. The chariry'i trustees
consider that an aiidit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (rhe
2011 Act).
It is my responsibiliry to:_

unusual items or disclosures in the accounts. and seeking explanations froin you as trustees
concerning any such maiters. The procedures undertaken do not providc all Ilie e￿idenCe thar ￿'OUld
be required in an audit: and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a
'tNe and fair, vieii, and the report is limited to those matiers set out in the siatement below.
