**holiday camps during this financial**
**period for children aged 4-13 years old**
**and numbers varied from 25-50 kids per**
**day .**
**This was a very good thing to happen for**
**these groups of children in the**
**community as we offer them a safe place**
**to play ,form friendships and obtain some**
**knowledge on healthy eating habits and**
**the importance of it .**
**Furthermore, we were able to provide hot**
**meals to these kids on the majority of**
**the days they attend. This helped the**
**parents as some of them are really**
**feeling the rise in the cost of living. The**
**meals and snacks were provided free of**
**charge. The children also actively**
**participated in a variety of indoor and**
**outdoor activities. This helped to keep**
**them fit mentally and physically. They**
**also participated in arts and crafts**
**showcasing their creativity . In addition**
**to the above TLNBT took the children out**
**on day trips to places such as the theatre**
**, museum and a farm.**
**TLNBT also delivered knife crime**
**workshops to young adults.**
**TLNBT also participated in the**
**Community Champions scheme delivered**
**by Merton council. To this end we**
**launched our Community Champions**
**news letter to help promote and enhance**
**people’s well-being in the community by**
**sharing information on health related**
**issues.**
