The year 2021/22 was the year that the impact by the Covid19 pandemic had started to lift and the charity was finally able to hold in person events.

It held several online events and held a hybrid Spring Retreat Event for people to attend in person or online called day titled “Daisy Desire, Dolly Parton and on Being Different” and held a fringe event at the Methodist Conference. Trustees consider that these activities served to advance the objects of the charity.

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

Particular achievements in 2021/22 was hosting our first in person event since the Covid19, which was available to those in person and also online and was an acknowledgment to the importance of these events.

Since the vote of Methodist Conference in 2021, we have developed a tool available on our website for Methodist Churches to register to put their church on the map to identify that they are able to perform same sex marriages and have seen this continuously grow.
