March **2012** **TAR** 2 The year 2020/21 was heavily impacted by the Covid19 pandemic and the charity was not able to hold in person events. March **2012** **TAR** 3 ## Section D Achievements and performance **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** This was a key year for the charity because of the votes at Methodist Conference 2021 regarding marriage and relationships. In the light of the Covid pandemic its dissemination of information and resources had to take place online. Particular achievements in this regard were a series of awareness-raising videos “Ready for Change” and a regular pattern of online prayer services. We were also able to provide information to many people who sought our assistance regarding the issues at play. The carrying out of these activities online meant costs incurred were significantly less than the would have been otherwise and the charity also benefited from the generous work of a number of volunteers. At present, the Brief statement of the charity does not have ongoing liabilities (eg[staff] costs) and is in a strong charity’s policy on reserves financial position. The trustees will keep the fund balances under review, mindful that the funds are there to be used in furtherance of the objects.
