Foreword

The Stones Community Trust (SCT) trading as Stones In The Community (SITC) is Maidstone United FC ’s (MUFC) non-profit making charity for delivering various community projects in the Maidstone area. The benefit of this initiative is increasing every year as economic conditions deteriorate and people find it ever tougher just to get by. We are therefore happy to report another strong year, assisting and supporting the local community with targeted activities and events in and around Maidstone, where we identify a need and where we have the resources to get involved.

Each year since its formation in 2018, including the particular period of Covid, has seen SITC consolidate and increase its workload, always with a particular eye on those activities and events likely to bring the most benefits to the greatest number of people and always with another eye on our capacity to operate securely, safely and with financial stability.

I am immensely proud of the work undertaken by the team, led by Tori Campbell and subsequently, Julie Palmer. Equally, I thank my fellow Trustees (in particular, Chair of Trustees Mike Littleboy), all our funding and operating partners without whom, we could do nothing.

In an ideal world, a football club is at the heart of its community; it certainly is here in Maidstone!

Introduction

The SCT is a CIO with six trustees and is registered at The Charity Commission under registration number 1184274. The SCT has been in existence since 2018. It is independent financially and operationally from MUFC . The SCT has 3 full/part time employees as well as a part time Community Development Officer. The SCT is funded solely by Grants from various bodies and Sponsorship from community and corporate partners.

Our objective: to provide activity and interventions in support of the people of Maidstone in areas of Wellbeing and Health; Sporting development activity and social interaction. We also provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.

MindStones – a Head In The Game Legacy Project

MindStones , a Head In The Game Legacy Project, is a Men’s Mental Health and Wellbeing programme which we have been running for around 3 years. MindStones had free to participant sessions which have gone from strength to strength so much so that we now offer 2 separate sessions (Monday and Thursday) each week at Valley Park School for Men aged 18 to 80.

We have 26 registered for Mondays and 28 registered for Thursdays. They are coached by highly trained and unpaid volunteers. That’s 2,808 places this year!

Each session provides a safe space for participants to talk, receive support from their friends within the group and actively participate in physical exercise which has a positive impact on their mental wellbeing. The session leaders are all previous MindStones and/or Head in the Game participants.

SITC offer a big thank you to Ross Woodruff who ran the TCS London Marathon on Sunday 27 April 2025 in support of MindStones . He donated £2,855.84 as a result to SITC ! SITC would also like to thank Involve Kent who provided some much needed funding to MindStones during this period. Other donations were provided by Jacob Smith and Steve Malkin for which we are very grateful.

MindStones links with other Head in the Game legacy projects by playing friendly matches to create a wide network of like-minded players. On Sunday 20 July 2025, 16 teams gathered at The Gallagher Stadium for the annual MindStones 6-a-side tournament. The event was held to raise awareness of projects which aim to reduce the stigma of mental health, particularly amongst men, and to support suicide prevention projects. Various organisations competed, including teams from SITC (MindStones and Maidstone United Raiders); Head In The Game mental fitness & football projects from Dartford, Ebbsfleet, Gravesend, Sittingbourne, and Tunbridge Wells; DadSpace; Maplewood Court Care Home; TE Connectivity ; and former pupils of Oakwood Park Grammar School . DadSpace Ashford overcame Oakwood Park Grammar School in the final. Thanks goes to DE Photo for donating funds as a result of their attendance at this Tournament.

OCTOBER 2024

On Monday 14 October 2024, 35 of Maidstone’s Primary Schools (Allington, Archbishop Courtenay, Barming, Bredhurst, Coxheath, Greenfields, Harrietsham, Holy Family, Hunton, King’s Hill, Lenham, Loose, Madginford, Marden, More Park, North Borough, Oaks, Palace Wood, Roseacre, Sandling, Senacre Wood, Snodland, South Borough, St Johns, St Katherines, St Marks, St Michaels, The Discovery School, Tree Tops, Tunstall, VIPS Aylesford, VIPS East Borough, VIPS Holborough Lakes, VIPS Leybourne Chase, West Borough) registered/took part (around 350 female footballers) in a very wet Under 11s Girls UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 Tournament at The Gallagher Stadium.

After the Group and Knock Out stages, the final was between Snodland (representing Portugal) and Coxheath (representing Austria). After a close encounter, Snodland ended up winning 1-0 and are seen below with the Mayor of Maidstone (Councillor John Perry) and some of the players and Manager (Tori Campbell) of Maidstone United Women’s First Team with their winners medals and trophy.

The SITC would like to say thank you to everyone who attended at The Gallagher on the day including the Players, Referees, Teachers, Managers, the Admin Team, Pupils from Aylesford School, Maidstone United as venue hosts, Maidstone United Academy Students, Parents/Carers, The Mayor of Maidstone, players from Maidstone United Women’s First Team and Manager, Urban Blue for first aid.

A special thanks goes to volunteers Sharon and Jill in the café – a welcome relief in the wet and cold. All profits raised in the café on the day were donated to Jill’s granddaughter (Maeve) who is 3 years old, has cerebral palsy and has a large operation coming in 2025 but her family needs funds to support her aftercare – we raised £830.22 so thank you so much to everyone who contributed – amazing support!

Our tournament, part of the National League Trusts UK competition, offered the chance for Snodland to represent Maidstone United at the South East Regional Finals on Thursday 13 March 2025. Whilst not progressing to the U11s NLT Southern Regional Finals, Snodland Primary School girls played well finishing third – well done girls.

SEPTEMBER 2025

On Monday 22 September 2025, 34 of Maidstone’s Primary Schools (Allington, Barming, Boughton Monchelsea, Bredhurst, Brunswick House, Coxheath, Greenfields, Harrietsham, Hunton, Jubilee, King’s Hill, Leigh Academy Langley Park, Leigh Academy Tree Tops, Lenham, Loose, Madginford, Marden, More Park, North Borough, Oaks, Palace Wood, Roseacre, Sandling, Senacre Wood, Snodland, South Borough, St Johns, St Katherines, St Michaels, Tiger, VIPS Aylesford, VIPS East Borough, VIPS Leybourne Chase, West Borough) registered/took part (around 340 female footballers) in our Under 11s Girls Baton of Hope 2025 Tournament at The Gallagher Stadium.

As part of the day, the Baton of Hope was paraded around the Gallagher Stadium. It was the baton’s first visit to Kent and Medway, with more than 130 local residents taking turns carrying the campaign’s Olympic torchstyle baton through Medway, Maidstone, Canterbury, and Thanet. The Baton of Hope – the world’s biggest suicide prevention campaign – visited 20 locations across the UK with a finale in Westminster on 10 October 2025.

On Monday 23 March 2026, South Borough represented Maidstone United at the NLT U11s South East Regional Finals at The Gallagher Stadium. With a place in the South Regional Finals, and ultimately the chance to play at Wembley on the line, the energy, excitement and team spirit on display were simply outstanding. Unfortunately, the Girls did not make it through but had an amazing day.

Funding for this Event was kindly provided by The National League Trust and Fileder Filter Systems Ltd. Thanks also to our partners at Sports Connect, Europa Sports, Cohesion, Aford Awards, Owen Harper and new Partners at Veterans Operating Base (VOB).

Primary FitStones

SITC provided football and multi-sports coaching at 8 local Primary Schools during this financial year. These sessions took place at Harrietsham, Lenham, Maidstone and Malling Alternative Provision, North Borough Junior, Oaks Primary Academy, Senacre Wood, Tiger and Wateringbury.

We also provided coaching at the special educational needs school, Five Acre Wood and their 4 centres in and around Maidstone. This involved 2 hour sessions twice a week at all their locations as well as 1 hour sessions each week at their Snodland site. In addition, we provided 1 to 1 coaching for an individual student at Loose.

Funding for these sessions was either provided free of charge, from school funds and/or by parents. Maidstone United Academy via B&B Coaching helped us by providing some of the coaches for this programme.

In November 2024, SITC provided referees for a Schools Tournament held over 3 days at Aylesford FC’s new 3G facility by PASS Ltd.

We also provided referees for various tournaments for Maidstone Borough primary schools, most of which took place at Greenfields Community Primary School . This included referees and medals for the U11s Boys and Girls Maidstone Primary Schools League Finals in June 2025.

On Friday 6 June 2025, SITC hosted and provided officials and medals for the U11s Girls and Boys Maidstone Primary Schools Cup Finals at The Gallagher Stadium .

Fit4Life

This programme was one of the first we started at SITC but gradually, was becoming more and more difficult to continue with. However, in June/July 2025, we tried again and identified a cohort of secondary school disengaged Boys and Girls from Maplesden Noakes, St Simon Stock and St Augustine’s. There were 4 children invited from each school, so a total of 12. The first session involved fitness programmes and personal development advice. The second session was Social Media and Influencers. Session 3 was Respect To All.

It became clear that we needed another fundamental re-think on how we could young people with this programme. Thanks to Safer Kent (Bryn Price) for providing funding for this initiative as well as Louise Massett (Energise Fitness), Nathan Hinckley and Ben and Max MacDonald .

We were also pleased to receive funds during this financial year from Maidstone Borough Council under their Winter Community Support Grant for another Fit4Life programme starting in October 2025– we had some big ideas within the next financial period for these funds! More next year!

Schools Out Activities Club

SITC have been running this Programme during school holidays and half terms since our existence in 2018 in Shepway and Parkwood, Maidstone and in Tovil, Maidstone since Easter 2022. Originally, all places were free to user whether that be HAF Funded or free Non-HAF places. However, at Easter 2025 and ongoing, we had to charge £5 per day per child as places were being registered but numerous children were not turning up – this change has ensured greater attendance but equally, we are now able to plan more effectively for staffing levels, food etc!

OCTOBER 2024

In October 2024, we ran a 4 day programme at Greenfields Community Primary School in Shepway, Maidstone ME15. We provided 138 places with free snacks etc over the half term.

In October 2024, we ran a 4 day programme at South Borough Primary School in Tovil, Maidstone, ME15. We provided 120 places with free snacks etc over the half term.

A total of 258 places in October 2024.

CHRISTMAS 2024/NEW YEAR 2025

At Christmas 2024/New Year 2025, we ran a 3 day programme at Greenfields Community Primary School in Shepway, Maidstone ME15. We provided 50 HAF places with free hot meals and snacks over that period.

At Christmas 2024/New Year 2025, we ran a 3 day programme at South Borough Primary School in Shepway, Maidstone ME15. We provided 57 HAF places with free hot meals and snacks over that period.

At Christmas 2024/New Year 2025, we ran a 3 day programme at Tree Tops Primary Academy in Parkwood, Maidstone ME15. We provided 64 places with free hot meals and snacks over that period.

A total of 171 places at Christmas 2024/New Year 2025.

FEBRUARY 2025

In February 2025, we ran a 3 day programme at Greenfields Community Primary School in Shepway, Maidstone ME15. We provided 148 places with free snacks etc over the half term.

In February 2025, we ran a 3 day programme at South Borough Primary School in Tovil, Maidstone, ME15. We provided 104 places with free snacks etc over the half term.

In February 2025, we ran a 3 day programme at Tree Tops Primary Academy in Parkwood, Maidstone, ME15. We provided 110 places with free snacks etc over the half term.

A total of 362 places in February 2025.

EASTER 2025

At Easter (April) 2025, we ran a 4 day programme at Greenfields Community Primary School in Shepway, Maidstone ME15. We provided 215 HAF and Non-HAF places with free hot meals and snacks over that period.

At Easter (April) 2025, we ran a 4 day programme at South Borough Primary School in Shepway, Maidstone ME15. We provided 185 HAF and Non-HAF places with free hot meals and snacks over that period.

At Easter (April) 2025, we ran a 4 day programme at Tree Tops Primary Academy in Parkwood, Maidstone ME15. We provided 203 HAF places with free hot meals and snacks over that period.

A total of 603 places at Easter (April) 2025.

MAY 2025

In May 2025, we ran a 3 day programme at Greenfields Community Primary School in Shepway, Maidstone ME15. We provided around 98 places with free snacks over that period.

In May 2025, we ran a 2 day programme at South Borough Primary School in Tovil, Maidstone ME15. We provided around 37 places with free snacks over that period.

In May 2025, we ran a 3 day programme at Tree Tops Primary Academy in Parkwood, Maidstone ME15. We provided around 27 places with free snacks over that period.

A total of 162 places in May 2025.

SUMMER 2025

During Summer 2025, between and including 28 July 2025 to 21 August 2025 , we ran 16 days (4 weeks; 4 days per week) at all our sites (Greenfields Community Primary School in Shepway, Tree Tops Primary Academy in Parkwood and at South Borough Primary School in Tovil) for our Schools Out Holiday Clubs.

And even the Helpers have fun!!

During Summer 2025, we ran a four week, four days a week programme at Greenfields Community Primary School in Shepway, Maidstone, ME15. We provided 835 HAF and non-HAF registered places with free hot meals and snacks over that period.

During Summer 2025, we ran a four week, four days a week programme at South Borough Primary School in Tovil, Maidstone, ME15. We provided 581 HAF and non-HAF registered places with free hot meals and snacks over that period.

During Summer 2025, we ran a four week, four days a week programme at Tree Tops Primary Academy in Parkwood, Maidstone, ME15. We provided 941 HAF and non-HAF registered places with free hot meals and snacks over that period.

A total of 2,357 places were provided during Summer 2025.

In summary, from October 2024 to end of the Summer 2025, we provided around 3,913 registered places at our Schools Out programme funded partly by Kent County Council via The Education People (HAF), The National League Trust, Maidstone Borough Council (Community Support Grant), CSIS and Golding Homes . Special thanks to Boxers Sam and Sean Noakes, Maidstone Kickboxing, Bearsted Korfball and Maidstone Weightlifting (Matt Vine) for providing specialist activities as well as AGE UK Faversham/Kent Rivers for supply/delivery of hot food.

In addition, a big thank you to Clock House Farm for the free fruit they provided to SITC for the whole of our Summer 2025 Schools Out Holiday Club – they were tasty and fantastic!!

Maidstone United Raiders FC

Maidstone United Raiders FC (Raiders) are part of SITC . It has expanded and continues to grow. Celebrating their 21st anniversary in 2025, Raiders continues to offer football opportunities for children and adults who have a disability or mental health. With 22 teams across the junior and adult sections, over 200 players are given the opportunity to take part in monthly tournaments with other teams across the county in the Kent Disability Football League (KDFL). We have 2 all-female teams (the only club in the KDFL) playing in a predominately male league for 7 years and who have been promoted this year. Some of the squads are shown below:

SITC and in particular, Raiders go beyond offering just football experiences by having a greater reach and impact across the local community:

Raiders continues to grow and is being recognised locally, regionally and nationally as one of the best pandisability clubs in England.

Men’s Walking Football

Maidstone United Walking Football Club (MUWFC) are an active member of SITC providing football for around 40 male players of advancing years who still have a love of the game. The section runs strongly supported training sessions at the YMCA on a Friday evening along with having competitive teams in the 50+ and 60+ age groups in the Kent League, both of whom had strong seasons. For next season, we are going to enter a 65+ team into the Kent League. The 50+ group have had an influx of new players which should make them stronger next season!

It also has a social side to the club where regular nights out are arranged for the players and their partners. Just the training sessions alone (not including League games) involve 2,080 participants over the year!

Unfortunately, due to other Tournament clashes, we did not run our 6-a-side Walking Football tournament in Spring 2025 but will be doing so next year!

Women’s Walking Football

Womens Walking Football started on 17 January 2025 as a new initiative for SITC. WWF are now active members of SITC providing football for around 15 female players over the ages of 35+ every Friday night. The section runs fun training sessions now at The Gallagher Stadium (previously at St Augustine’s and Valley Park – with thanks to both) and are now playing some competitive friendlies and tournaments in and around Kent and the South East. It also has a social side to it especially as it is now based at The Gallagher. Just the training sessions alone (not including matches) involve 750 participants over the year (2 weeks off at Christmas/New Year)! This initiative would not have been possible without the initial part funding received from Involve Kent and Kent FA.

Women’s Walking Football Group February 2025

Kent FA’s International Women’s Day Extravaganza took place at the training ground of Women’s Championship club, London City Lionesses, on Saturday 8 March 2025 with a variety of senior women’s activities in the afternoon. A team from our newly formed Women’s Walking Football programme took part in a series of matches against teams from in and around Kent. A lot of the women in our team were new to football and with only 8 training sessions under their belts, they took to the field against some seasoned teams from Crystal Palace, Whitstable, Margate, Cheshunt and Tonbridge. Despite this being a baptism of fire, our ladies held their own in the main, although a win did allude them. It was a great learning experience for them and everyone played with a smile on their face and a positive attitude.

The WWF Group also played in a Tournament on 25 May 2025 at Tonbridge Angels.

FitStones

FitStones (also known as Habits for Health) is a weekly exercise and wellbeing course in partnership with Strictly Fitness, Energise Fitness and Wellbeing People.

We ran 2 complete 13-week programmes known as FitStones 7 and FitStones 8 during the period aiming to improve men and women’s wellbeing, fitness, provide lifestyle guidance, weight and nutritional guidance.

FitStones 7 took place between September 2024 and December 2024 and involved 13 weeks’ work for 4 participants, a total of 52 places provided. This cohort gained 27 wellbeing years by completing this course. This was partly funded by Maidstone Borough Council through their Community Resilience Fund . Thanks also to Swale Community Leisure for their help with venue hire at Hermitage Park Community Centre.

FitStones 8 commenced in April 2025 and involved 13 weeks’ work for 6 participants, a total of 78 places provided. This cohort gained 77 wellbeing years by completing this course. This was partly funded by Active Kent through their Multi Sports and Facilities Grant . Thanks also to Maidstone United FC for their help with venue hire at The Gallagher Stadium. This was partly funded by Sport England and Active Kent and Medway through their Multi Sports and Facilities Grant .

FitStones 9 started in September 2025 and is due to complete in December 2025 involving 13 weeks’ work for 12 participants who hope to complete the course; a total of 36 places provided in this financial year. This was partly funded by Sport England and Active Kent and Medway through their Multi Sports and Facilities Grant .

A total of 166 places were provided for our FitStones programme. The cohorts gained a combined total of 104 wellbeing years by completing our FitStones 7 & 8 courses. Results for FitStones 9 are still to be determined.

WildStones/Wildcats

From September 2024 , we continued for a second year with our 1 hour programme each Monday evening to encourage young girls to participate in football. This was re-branded as WildStones . This is a paid initiative and ran from The Gallagher Stadium. This is for girls who don’t belong to a team but just wish to come along and play football in a safe and secure environment with their friends.

The WildStones went on to form the new U10 and U12 Girls teams of the Maidstone United Women’s and Girls section for the 2024/25 season. Unfortunately, this meant that significantly less girls were participating, less than 5 per session. However, we continued with this programme until July 2025 when we decided that it was more appropriate for the Maidstone United Women’s and Girls section to develop this further. Thanks to Kent FA for part funding this initiative .

Miscellaneous

As Maidstone United FC’s charity, we wanted to show our support for the rejuvenated Maidstone United Women’s and Girls FC Section of the Club. Therefore, for Seasons 2024/2025 as well as 2025/2026, SITC agreed to sponsor Tori Campbell Player Manager (also, SITC’s Operations Manager) as well as Kylie Manktelow who assists us with our Schools Out programme of Maidstone United Women’s First Team .

We donated funds to some of Maidstone United’s Academy (supported by Cornwallis Academy ) coaches to purchase SCT/SITC branded training kit and essential equipment so they could work in schools.

We also attended some School Fetes to widen the name of SITC .

Maidstone Town Centre Christmas Light Switch On – thanks to an opportunity via One Maidstone BID , we were fortunate enough to be part of the Christmas Lights Switch On which took place on Thursday 21 November 2024. Working closely with MUFC, we took along Iggy the Dinosaur and some players.

Maidstone Light Up Festival; Another successful event on Friday 7 February 2025 on behalf of One Maidstone BID and Maidstone Borough Council. The celebrations showcase the excellent work being done by young people from across the Borough through the arts and promote the values of respect, excellence, friendship and equality. The event started with a lantern parade, street entertainers and more! Entertainment began at County Hall with a brass band culminating in a finale show in Jubilee Square.

Thank you to our Trustee Ian Tucker who delivered a talk to Rotary Club Maidstone in August 2025 which was so well received that he got a donation for SITC.

On Friday 27 June 2025, SITC and Maidstone United personnel played in our Annual Charity Match against Partners from Five Acre Wood school. Funds were being raised so that SITC could continue with our football coaching sessions at FAW’s various sites for Academic Year 2025/2026. We had 392 attendees and what a match it was, ending in an exciting 5–5 draw! FAW advise that the last few years of running such a successful fundraiser simply wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of SITC .

We were invited and attended the Five Acre Wood Festival on Tuesday 22 July 2025 known as Woodstock – a great day was had by all. This provides SEN Children and Parents to attend a Festival without worry!

During this financial period, SITC and Maidstone United FC were able to attend assemblies in different primary schools around Maidstone, to promote the Club and Charity. Thanks to George Elokobi (Manager), Zach Foster-Crouch (Goalkeeper Coach) and all first team players who came along to speak about their personal journeys. Special thanks to Club Mascot Iggy who also made appearances!

Iggy, Maidstone United FC’s mascot, is a huge hit with the community. During Summer 2025, SITC took Iggy to differing KCC Family Hub events and spent time with the children whose families needed extra support.

Maidstone United FC have an amazing stadium and facility. We have been able to bring many local primary schools down to The Gallagher Stadium , where they have been able to have a tour of the stadium. A few times, the men’s first team have been training and the children were able to watch as well as have conversations and signed autographs from the players, George Elokobi and Craig Fagan.

On 21 December 2024, Lorraine Humm , Tori Campbell and Mike Cogger (Trustee) collected funding, food and other essentials at an MUFC Home Game and delivered it to local families in and around Maidstone. SITC/Raiders bought food over 4 months for our local food bank.

On 20 August 2025, SITC assisted another local Charity, Crossroads Care Kent with their football match to collect funds and give prominence to this organisation.

During this period, SITC have also supported Golding Homes Annual Conference in their market place; attended Active Kent and Medway conference; attended EFL Mental Health Conference in Derby; attended St Francis summer fete; and supported Fusion Sports Day in Parkwood.

Staff and Training

Tori Campbell (Operations Manager) joined SITC as our first full time employee in April 2024 and continued in her role for this financial year. We were able to secure part funding for this role from The National League Trust – we couldn’t have employed Tori without this funding so thank you NLT!

Harry Strike (Assistant Community Development Officer) joined SITC as our second full time employee in September 2024 and continued in his role for this financial year. We were able to secure part funding for this role from The Kent Community Foundation – we couldn’t have employed Harry without this funding so thank you KCF!

Lorraine Humm continued in her part time role as Community Development Officer during this financial year.

In August 2025, we were able to secure the services of Julie Palmer as Operations Director. The press release is accessible here - Julie Palmer joins Stones in the Community - Stones Community Trust

The Team are tasked with developing and growing our Charity.

During the financial year, we continued to provide access to training for our Delivery Partners as well as ensuring they had the appropriate DBS and Safeguarding certificates in place.

A number of key personnel also took the Level 3 Designated Safeguarding Lead training to enable us to further help young people with the programmes that we deliver.

Schools Out summer staff completed courses in Safeguarding as well as Food Allergy Awareness, Food Hygiene, mental health awareness as well as First Aid. We are now also 5* according to MBC’s Environmental Health Department at all of our venues.

SITC left our pod at Maidstone Borough Council offices in May 2025 in order to re-localise our office base to The Gallagher Stadium in order to keep our expenses to a minimum – thanks to Maidstone United for supporting that initiative.

We had numerous networking teams calls with those involved with the National League Trust as well as other Clubs in the South East. This has been a great opportunity to build relationships and partnerships with other Club Community Trusts (CCT) including Tonbridge Angels, Ebbsfleet and Dover.

On 18 June 2025, all CCT’s attended an NLT conference day to discuss development & growth, finances and other programme initiatives etc. This was a great opportunity to speak to other CCT’s from around the Country about some of the successful programmes/projects they currently run, to see if we at SITC can do something similar. Thanks to Trustee Ian Tucker and our CDO Lorraine Humm who attended on behalf of SITC .

The Trustees wish to thank each and every staff member and all the many volunteers for all your help in developing SITC into what it is today and what it will be in the future.

COHESION DESIGN

As part of our ongoing web and social media presence, SITC offer huge thanks to Paul Bailes of Cohesion Design (Paul is also a member of the Walking Football group). Constant upkeep of these channels is a time consuming task so huge thanks to Paul and his wife, Suzanna (also a member of the Women’s Walking Football Group).

MY IT WIZARD

None of us are proficient at IT and therefore, we are regularly indebted to My IT Wizard (Scott and Colette Harris) for helping and supporting the Charity as well as not laughing at our simple questions!!

EUROPA SPORTS

We have partnered, alongside Maidstone United, with Europa Sports since before The SCT’s formation. Tony, Alan and Megan Birchard are able to supply kit and equipment for most of our needs. Thank you.

Payroll is an important task for any business and so, we offer huge thanks to Henry Reeves & Co , Chartered Certified Accountants for all that they provide for us.

LOUCAS

Who needs Auditors? We do! Loucas (Chartered Certified Accountants) provide advice throughout the year and carry out an Independent Examination of Accounts on The SCT/SITC.

Academy Partnership

We had numerous Maidstone United Academy players (supported by Cornwallis Academy ) working with us to assist delivery of our Programmes; we want to continue to develop this relationship over the next financial year.

Summary

The Trustees are extremely pleased with all the activities that SITC has undertaken to Year Ending 30 September 2025. We helped and made positive changes to so many people from the Maidstone Community.

The investing in existing and new personnel during this period has re-energised to develop and grow SITC to be the premier provider in Maidstone.

To The Trustees Of The Stones Community Trust

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of The Stones Community Trust for the year ended 30 September 2025.

Responsibilities and basis of report

As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent examiner's statement

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

  1. Accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or 2. The accounts do not accord with those records

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
