||In planning our activities for the year we kept in mind the charity<br>commissions guidance on public benefit at our trustee meetings:<br>The main activity of the charity is as follows:<br>-<br>To build ferro cement water tanks in public primary schools in<br>rural Uganda.<br>-<br>Provide water filters in public primary school class rooms.<br>These activity benefit the community by providing those young people<br>with access to water for sanitation (cleaning their hands after going to the<br>toilet) and providing access to safe drinking water while at school. An<br>assessment is done to determine that the school needs a water tank. i.e.<br>there is not continuous access to drinking water at or near the school’s<br>grounds or  reaching the current source presents a risk to the child when<br>accessing the water (they have to cross a road).|

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

The COVID-19 pandemic had a severe impact on our ability to conduct charitable operations, however some ongoing maintenance and planning for future work was achieved through this time.
