Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried

bmpts.. firstty how have we grown as dis¢iples of Jesus and se(￿ndty in whith ways are we
sharing God's transforming love? As you read this report p￿ase refleca upon these questions.

In our January 2025 chL￿th Meeting we rell&#etl urmyi our reC￿t c*ange of r￿rne to Chew Valey
Baptist Church in order to FKomote the deep￿ arKI vision developiThJ among us. across the
whok of the Chew Valley. WEthin this contexi we r￿W have a new look website and have re¢entty
adapted our logo (please see the heading abovery in order to ￿pture these aims. The logo Kt)n has
the cro$$ al the centre showing our ctspmttment to keeping Christ at the heart of our identity and all
that we do. The watsr droplet wboh.ses ts)th Ihe water of life and aL80 refiects bapt'ism as a cenlral
part of our faith. The ripple5 sUr￿￿ding the drow reF￿￿ cmjr desire to extend and share God's
transforming love with others.

At Chew Magna our Sunday 10am seN(£s have conttnued in an informal style with worship.

preceding Easter we focussed upon the ix)ok of John inspi￿ by the bible reading challenge Fami
Zone engaged in. 11 was wondwfvl to see all ages ￿aMIng aboul JesLts logeiher and to see the mary
er￿agIng ways ChuKth familiès shared the stories at homeF Our Easter Sunday se￿1￿ was a Soyful
celebration.. the churth was full wa5 k)¥ety to wekxxne visitors too.
Most weeks we cx)nlinue lo run "Family Zone. wsth adWil￿S and teaching for famil￿5 arKI thli dien
during the tslk. Wè are blessed by the number of mustaans we have and enjoy worship accvmpanied
by piano. guitar. oboe, flute. violin and vccals.
At Winford member5 reque51ed Even￿￿ SeTvices al 5.1XJ p.m. during the summer months
with an average 3tt8ndarts of 6 .7. servI￿s are SOIr￿Imes led by wsiting guest spe8ker5 and i)n

other Sundays are a type of o￿n worship wrlh by au wor5hipFers. Every third
Sunday monlhty we share Hoty CoMm￿N)n. SeveF81 ofthe feknvship ara part of thè Open the Book
Team at Winfoid Primary School. In the nEw temi in September we plan io ieue*e the story of The
C￿ation and will be working with the new Headleacher and way this will continue as a WOrthwh￿e
relat￿nship for tha benefft of the thildren.
Pastoral and spiri￿al Care
P8s1oral ￿Te is shown and shared through wth)rmal chats, friendship and prayer and all are
encouraged to speak with a member of the leadershy team as needed. Addibonally lan. Maggie and
H818n have knnd￿ offered to support the ¢X)ordIn￿i0n of pa$kn￿ supwt Prayer requests
are encyjuraged and home Msils or lime to that can readty be arranggd.
Home groups are a great way to share felkAvship and leam more about God together in a relaxed and
SAJpportive environment. We ￿J￿entlY have h¥0 groups lone in West HaFPtree and the other in Bishop
Sirttonl. There 15 3kY3ys room for anY0r￿ who woubj like to be part of a group indUd￿9 the possibility
of starling groups lo er¢trAe mowe to ell9age.

lthole Church Safeguarding Training will lake place in June 2025 and fvrther training
attended on a needs basis throughout the year andlor as updates a￿ needed. Our safeguarding

amongst our wutats as they SUPFOrt and enc4)urage 8nottrw. As well as playing games and
offering adl￿ colouring and Plth boois, we eryoy good cOnversati￿s. which quÈie often have a link
to faith. We invits peop￿ to a time of rx)nlemthtive pRyer at 12 0'doc* week, whith '
attended by betsveen around three and seven peop￿ eath week. have more than twenty people
who have popped in on a regular, or not SO regular basi$. ￿ are a150 building goc*J relationships with
