Sundoychurch Sunday gatherings were one of the biggest changes during the year. The church moved venues in Septemberto Leigh Academy, a primary school Sn York Road. Dartford. We also chang&d the meeting times so that the chureh gathered on 5und8y mornings instead of early evening. wlth the 8ddition ol chlldren'8 ministry las w81188 continuing youth rnini8tryl- We saw 8n uptick in new oiner8 as we made this transition. Inlt1811y we met twice 8 month for a worshlp. team, children8' and youth mlnlstry, wlth an invitational café church on the second Sund8y. Thi8 was an inform81 88tting to gBther togetherwlth no formal PTogramm8, but to spend time together and inviting frlends who would not normally go to church. Th8 fourth Sunday of the month was kept as 8 Scattered Sunday, a8 In previous year8. However thera w88 growing mornentum which we wanted to 8CtIV8te. so by March. wo replaced both tho café church and Seattered Sundays. so that there was ministry every Sunday. In 8ddition to thls growth. 8 new Ioc8tion wa8 8dded In New A8h Green. a vi118ge 9 miles from Dartford. This 10¢8tlon 8ttr8cts around 20 people from th8 V1118ge, and we meet for worghip, teaching and chlldr8n8' ministry once p81 month. This group is growing. with new joiners each month. At the time of writingthis report, we ore ¢urrently worklng to d8velop188der5 Wlth a vlew to launching 8 81t8 church modgl, wlth site pastors and the ability to conduct Sundays 8lmult8neously in both 8lte8. Wellbelng Group We contlnued to run wellbelng groups for the local communlty, open to everyone 8nd completely fre8 ol charge. AS usual, 8 bre8kfpst was Included to create a natural sp8ce for people to inter8Ct over gomg food, 89 8n intention81 w8yto help people relax 8nd create connections. We hod 5 guests complete the course that storted in Aprll, 8nd 7 guestg In the course that ran from November to Christmas. As ugual, the groups were well received, 8nd p081tive fegdba¢k w8s given about the helpfulness otthe groups. Alpha The church 81so ron two Alpha cour5e5 in the year. ag8in open to 8118nd ottended by 8 mix of church membery and some guests. Th83e Courses were well received. Le8der8hlp & Strat88y Several Individua15 from our le8der5hip team attended a two-d8y leadership conference entitled L88ning In. Leading Out hosted by Vineyaid Churches UK & Ireland in April 2024. Members from the Nation81 Leadership Team presented sessions aroun(J various leadership and strat8gy topics. followed by practical workshops in our leadership team. The week was very successful with the young people being encouraged in their faith and friendships built. Leader¥hlp Devgiopmant We took a number of our leaders to the Vlnayard Leaders, Gathering in Trent Vlneyard in Aprll. Our leaders received input and training In a diver88 r8nge of tOPiC8. along with worship & ministry. The t98m were encouraged and motlV8ted 8tr88h to fulfil the vision of th8 church following the conference. R•ilonal Day Tha Vlney8rd Church¢$ UK & Ireland movement hosted a London and South8a8t region day In October. A number of k8y188der8 attended the event ond join&d workshops related to preaching & teaching. childrens, and youth ministry and wor8hip. Thero was posltive feedback received from those that 8ttended. Smo11 Group• We continue to run and expand our sm811 group8. mlnistry.
