Beaconsfield Women’s Institute has had another successful year. 

Membership continues to flourish with a waiting list, for safety reasons membership 

Has been set at 70. 

In line with the WI’s aims to promote education in women and enable them to improve 

The quality of their lives, the charity chosen to support was Wycombe Women’s Aid. 

Close links with this charity have been forged over a number of years. 

£1214.80 was raised by members through a sponsored walk and other smaller fund raising activities during the year. 

The One Can Food charity also benefitted from members bringing in donations of dried and canned foods and toiletries. 

Members enjoyed a number of talks and events such as celebrating Diwali, a visit to an organic farm and a visit to his majesties home Highgrove House. 

Activities for wellbeing include a walking group and a craft group. 

All committee members are volunteers and give selflessly of their time.
