Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document	TO PRESERVE, MAINTAIN, AND ENHANCE HERITAGE SITES IN TORQUAY AND THE TORBAY AREA FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL PEOPLE AND THE NATION AT LARGE, AND TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC REGARDING THE HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL AND NATURAL HERITAGE WITHIN THE SITES IN THE FORM OF BUILDINGS OF PARTICULAR HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL INTEREST, ART AND ARTEFACTS, GARDENS AND DESIGNED LANDSCAPE.

WHERE AS A NEW CHARITY WE HAVE HAD ANY UNCERTAINTY WE HAVE SOUGHT GUIDANCE FROM THE CHARITY COMMISSION AND/OR ERRED ON THE SIDE OF CAUTION.
