Our primary avenue for impact has been through our weekly publlc worship servlces. whlch contlnue to be a cornerstone of our communlty engagement. Famlly En8a8ement: Our weekly toddler group where young famllles gather to play, conne¢t, and explore how to live life inspired by the teachlngs of Jesus. Communlty Café: We host weekly tea and coffee meetlnes open to the publlc, providln8 a weltomlnB and safe environment that fosters connection and community building. Mldweek Gatherfng5: These meetings offer opportunities for prayer, mutual support, and Intercession for the needs of our local area. Pastoral Qre: We contlnue to provlde pastoral support both withln the church and to the wider communitvi responding to individual needs Wlth compassion and care. Research shows that religious Involvement Is positively associated with a range of well-being Indlcators, includlng greater happiness, life satisfattion, hope. purpose, and social support. About our Volunteer5.' The heart of Hope Church Halifax lies in our dedicated volunteer5. whose tireless efFort5 brlng Ilfe. energy, and vlbrancy to our community. Our Finonclol Review." Hope Church Halifax CIO is primarity fvnded through voluntary donations from church members. regular attendees. and supporters. These generous contrlbutlons enable us to carry out our mission and sustain our operatlons. During the year under review, expenditure was directed towards ministry-related activities, a5 well as the admlnlstrative and property Costs necessary to 5UPPOrt those ministries. The core oblectlve of the charlty remalns the preaching of the Gospel within the UK, the provision ol pastoral care to our congregation and vlsltors. and the facilltatlon of varlous outreach inltiatives. We are pleased to report that Income exceeded expendlture by £508.99 this year. This surplus was largely due to substantlal onfroff gifts from supporters, which have helped us maintaln a healthy flnancial reserve. Serving a communlty In a deprlved area In North Hallfax, we are encouraged to see that contrlbution5 from re8ular attendees and vlsltors accounted for 50% of totsl expenditure5-a 6% Increase compared to the prlOuS year. Glven the current level of reserves, the trustees are satlsfled wbth both the flnanclal performance and the overall Ilnanclal positlon of the charity. Our Reserves Pollcy.. The trustees are confident that the current level of reserves is sufficlent to cover approxlmately 11 months of expendlturni providin8 a robust buffer to SUPPOrt the chartys operatlons. A mlnimum reserve threshold of 8 weeks, eJ¢pendlture has been establlshed to ensure flnancial stablllty and contlnulty. Based on projected regular giving and exlsting reserves, the trustees belleve the charity Is well-positioned to meet Its financlal needs for at least the next 21 months, supporting both on8oin8 min15try and outreach actlvltles. Apart from the flrst charlty trustees, every trustee must be appointed for a term of three years by a resolutlon passed at a properly convened meetlng of charity trustee5.
