Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
To relieve financial hardship, distress and suffering among poor people, victims of natural disasters and other people in need by means of, but not exclusively, making grants or loans for providing or paying for items, equipment, services and facilities, including the provision of food, clean water, and costs for attending school and costs for medical treatment for the benefit of the said persons;

To advance the religion of Islam, by means of, but not exclusively, promoting the teachings and tenets of Islam via the assistance in the provision of facilities for Islamic worship and education in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him) as interpreted by the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah School of Thought.

| During the period, the charity secured income of £18,567 of which donations were £9,754 and rental income was £8,813. The charity had expenditure of £53,603 of which the primary items of expenditure were £38,833 for repairs and refurbishment of rental property and £12,292 for grants. This generated a deficit for the period of £35,036 which was met with prior year surpluses. At the end of the period the charity held reserves of £15,499 as well as the properties held as assets. The charity has a policy not to hold any operational reserves but retain excess funds for future charitable activities, property maintenance and governance costs. |
