Fundraise for Bolingbroke Academy. Put on social events for the whole school community. Act as a channel of communication between parent body and school on any relevant issues.

The Trustees have ensured that the Trust operates for the public benefit and have taken into account the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit when making our decisions.

Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

This year the Trust had the most successful fundraising year ever. We raised £84k (gross) this year.

The main income streams were: ● Christmas Fayre ● 2[nd] hand uniform sales ● Club 50/50 monthly lottery ● Summer Raffle ● Moveli boards ● Quiz Night ● Spring Fair ● Enterprise initiative ● Direct sponsorship from local businesses

Following discussions with the school and the parents association it was agreed that the funds raised to date would be spent on the following:

In addition some planning took place for the butterfly garden and the restricted balance for this project is now £21k.

Section E Financial review

At the end of the year £87k is held in a current account at Metro Bank, Brief statement of the approx £3k more than the previous year. In addition, balances held in charity’s policy on reserves our PayPal and Stripe account (from Zettle and Website sales) totalled £3k.

At the end of the year, the Trust needs to have £2k minimum in cash reserves for any emergency spend requirements. And the restricted balance for the Butterfly Garden is £21k.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31stAugust 2025.
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
(“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
