This period we were unable to do any public events or talks or walks because of covid-19.  All training and education of other bat carers took place via Zoom.  Public engagement at community events such as open days, flowers shows and supermarket bucket shakes were cancelled. We were entirely reliant on internet based events such as facebook fundraisers.  Our local Waitrose were able to still make a donation to us as part of their green token scheme even though this was not divided by token percentage.

This is organised each year by the Bat Conservation Trust<br>to recognise individuals who have made an outstanding practical<br>contribution to bat conservation.  The criteria for the award include<br>dedication, innovation, enthusiasm and inspiration in making a<br>difference, both to bats and to people, helping make BCT's vision<br>become a reality.  They was announced as the winner of this<br>prestigious award in September 2020.|
