FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE TRUSTEES MAY:
- A) RAISE FUNDS ON AN ONGOING BASIS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE MEMORY BOXES FREE OF CHARGE THROUGHOUT THE UNITED KINGDOM INCLUDING ENGLAND, SCOTLAND, WALES AND NORTHERN IRELAND AND FOR THE UPKEEP OF THE CHILD BEREAVEMENT HUB LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF NEWTON-LE-WILLOWS.

Achievements and erformance p

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
-
1) We provided 941 Memory boxes throughout the UK to Bereaved Parents and families
-
2) Phase 2 of the Child Bereavement Hub has commenced, we were successful in obtaining grants for LED lighting throughout the hub and for external works which are to yet take place
-
3) We provided over 78 funeral gowns to funeral directors and individuals in the local area.

4) We continued to raise funds from the public to allow us to continue our charitable activities, we attended the Town show where we raised funds

5) We were successful in obtaining grants from a number of organizations through Neighbourly including B&Q, Marks & Spencers, Screwfix and Aviva

Our strategy is that we retain sufficient reserves to be able to continue Brief statement of the to provide a provision within our Bereavement Hub and provide our charity’s policy on reserves memory boxes for a further 6months even if we generated no additional income.
