The objects of the CIO are to advance the education of the public in the history of the manufacture of the Spitfire aircraft in the Salisbury Area of Wiltshire, including but not limited to the erection and maintenance of a memorial or memorials to the Spitfire aircraft and those who built it in the Salisbury area.

Funds raised in the year - £23,754. **Summary of the main achievements of the charity** The replica Spitfire aircraft has been installed at Salisbury Rugby Club as **during the year** a memorial. The site where it is displayed has also been finished, with an electrical supply built in as well as groundwork and fencing. In addition the original Spitfire building sites around the local area have been recognised with blue plaques.

The policy of the Charity is to raise and maintain sufficient reserves at all times so far as possible as to enable it to insure and maintain the replica aircraft being to be constructed.
