Current Staffing

Holly Manager Rosie Assistant Manager Lisa SENCo

Tintangels continues to go from strength to strength.

The nursery is looking lovely and the Sensory room is almost complete.

Tintangels continue to have good links with the Children’s Centre, Health visiting Team, Speech and Language Therapists, neighbouring Pre-Schools, childminders and Tintagel Primary School.

At the end of the summer term 2020, Holly and Rosie supported children through a smooth transition into Tintagel Primary School and Boscastle Primary School.

Lisa ensured that the children with Special Educational Needs were looked after and that the receiving schools had all the relevant information to support them appropriately.

Our fundraisers have been busy with Katy’s bake sale, Rosie’s mountain climb and contributions from local car parks. I thank you all for your amazing efforts and support for Tintangels.

Thanks again to Holly, Lisa, Rosie and thanks to you, my colleagues, trustees, directors etc for your ongoing support of Tintangels.

Managers report

Alison Cox came to the setting to help get ready for Ofsted inspections which may happen soon. She reported that the setting was pretty much ready paperwork and setting wise for an inspection. We changed from a charity 2 years and 1 month ago so we will be due for an inspection soon.

Jo Parsons is planning to visit and check the educational side for ofsted.

We have lost a few fence posts and have been quoted £716!!! This is a much higher than we hoped to pay, Lucy to contact her odd job man and see if he can re quote a more reasonable price.

Money is still being raised for the new shed and we are nearly at the figure we needed. 1 extra child has joined the setting.
