During the 202412025 academic year the chartty continued to operate the Polish Saturday School, providing education for approximately 250 pupils from preschool to secondary level. Classes were delivered in Polish language, history, geography and culture following ihe curriculum for Polish schools abroad. The charity organised cultural celebrations, educational projects and community Évgntq throughout the year. Volunta•rg and tho Parents, Committee played an important role in supporting fundraising activities and school events. Grant-funded projects continued lo benefit pupils and the wider community, while teaching staff participated in professional development to maintain high educational standards. Section D Achievements and performance Annual Report Summary- 202412025 Sumrnary of the main achievements of the charity during the year Mission The Educational and Cultural Centre Swindon CIO continued to provide a safe, intylusive and supportlve leaming environment where children could develop 2cademit.ally, socially and culturally whil8 maintaining strong links with their Polish heritage. Key Objectives Deliver Polish supplementary education. Promote Polish language, history and culture. Support bilingual education. Strengthen community integration. Encourage parental involvement and volunteering. Educational AGtivities Saturday classes continued throughout the academic year for children across all age groups. The curriculum followed the Polish Gore programme adapted for children living abroad. Teachlng standards remained high through the use of modem teaching methods and continuous professional davelopment of staff. student Support The school continued to provide appropriate support for pupils with additional educational needs through differentiated teaching and individual assistance where appropriate. Communty Activities The charity organised and .4iJpported numèrous community initiativèg including-. fundraising events for the school, charity fundraising activities, ontinued operation of the community radio project, participation in the Great Orchestra of Chri*tmas Chartty IwoÈp), activities promoting Polish culture within the local community. Section D Achievements and performance The main sources of unrestricte¢J income included.. Polish Saturday School fees, fundralslng activities, tLick shop sales, book sales, donations, other aducational income. Restricted funding was received primarily through grant programmes and charitable projects supporting educational activities. At Ihe end of the financial year unrestricted cash reserves stood at approximately £58,825, providing a strong rinancial Posltion tor the charity going into the follnwing ac3demic yÉar. Volunteers The charity continued to rely heavily on volunteers, particularly members of the Parents. Committee and community supporters, whose contribution was essential to the SUC$Sful organisation of school events and fundraising activities. Summary The trustees are satisfied that the Charity successfully achieved its objectives during the 202412025 financial year. Educational Standards remained high, community engagement continued to grow and the charity maintained a strong financial position while expanding its activities through grants, fundraising and volunteer support.
