Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the ¢harity during tho year The main activty of the Charity remains running Polish Saturday SchcK)I and the most achievements are obtained there. The school year 2022123 was another very good year for the School. The School suc￿SsfUllY implemented the goals and tasks inGluded in the core curriculum therefore all the no￿nS and standards for the qualtty of school work were maintained. The actions taken served comprehensive development of the students. preparing them for lrfe and taking on new educational tasks. The school took care also for students with special educational needs providing them wth dasses tailored to their requirements. In addition, there was a school psychologist and a speech therapist workin9 at the School to ￿￿0vide additional assistan￿ for our stthlents. A part of the sthool life are events run by the School. They are very popular in the School as well as in the Area. DurirvJ this school year there were celebrattons of National Educational Day, Independence Day, Grandmother and Grandfather Day, Polish Constitution Celebration and meeting with Santa Claus. School trips for all the children were organised and subsided, that helped the students to integrate and discover the attractions of the United Kingdom. The Chartty works closely wilh different organisations. institutions and people in the area. The aim is lo promote Polish cutture and heritage. This year. in May 2023, a delegatson of representatives of the Charity, Polish Radio. SenTror Club and Scouling went to London to meet President of Poland. The meeting discussed. am￿0 others, the integration of Poles in the communities they live. Each year, the Charty takes part in the celebration of Polish Heritage Day. It runs throughout the month of May across the whole United Kingdom. It is organised in cooperation with Polish Embassy, and ti aims to integrate the Polish communty with other communities living in the Untted Kingdom, t)oth at the l¢xzl as well as national level, to share Polish culture, herttage and hospitalty. In 2023 Chartty organised for the first time a big annual event which was part of the Polish Heritage Day celebration in Swindon - Polish Day Festrval in Swindon. Each year this event attracts hundreds of people from Polish environment but also all other nations living in the area. It proves to be a very suGcessful every year and awaited by many.
