The charity has also held public information events in the area, and has established a website and Facebook page. The charity campaigned for the extension of the Community Sponsorship Scheme. It is anticipated that the resettlement plan will be completed and the application submitted to the Home Office as soon as possible after April 1[st] 2021, subject to the extension of the scheme and consent being granted by North Northamptonshire Council. The Trustees have had regard to the guidance on public benefit issued by the Charity Commission and amended its Constitution as suggested by the Charity Commission.
