Additional governance issues (Optional Information):
-
the charity’s organisational structure and any wider network with which the charity works
-
the Charity presently operates in two ways, on a Regional and Local level.
-
Regional - this is a pioneering aspect of the Charity that seeks new opportunities to create new Chapel hubs.
-
Local - Conwy Valley Hub. This is managed locally by a volunteer Leadership, who presently operate in three Villages in Tal y Bont.
- relationships with any related parties
- Local - Conwy Valley Hub undertakes Children and Youth outreach under a framework with Urban Saints Wales (Charity no.1144923).
- trustee’s consideration of major risks and the system and procedures to manage them
-
There are no major risks relating to the Charity. The management procedure is to discuss risks informally as they arise and record matters as necessary at Trustee’s meetings.
-
Financial - there is currently very little financial risk to the Charity as all Leaders are volunteers and are not financially dependent on the Charity. There are also no buildings owned by the Charity, and therefore financial risk is considered to be very low and no formal risk assessment is considered necessary.
-
Legal - liability insurance for Chapel is in place and relevant training and CRB checks for those working with Children and Youth in the Local Conwy Valley Hub is carried out through Urban Saints Wales procedures.
