The prevention or relief of poverty and financial hardship for the public benefit by the provision of clothes, shoes, school supplies, food, property repairs and building work in any part of the world and in any other way the trustees shall from time to time determine.
The advancement of education for the public benefit by promoting and organising art, music, craft, cooking classes summer camps and concerts in any part of the world, and any other activity the trustees shall from time to time determine.

## **Fruits and veggie box**
**Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)**
The beginning of 2020 was marked by Covid 19 and the first lockdown. Soon we identified in the community the need for food supplied, and we received different referrals for elderly people and families in Watford and Hemel Hempstead. We started to prepare boxes with fruits and vegetables that were delivered for approx. 80 people/families on a weekly basis. Some care packs were also prepared and delivered, a dental practice offering approx. 20 packs. A local restaurant joined the project and prepared hot meals that the charity delivered at the same time with the fruit and veggie boxes. The charity collaborated with different charities and local businesses to amplify the results. The project was well received in the community and it was presented in Watford Observer and an online News station. The project stopped after 3 months due to the lack of funds; some families received food supplies occasionally.
## **Adopt a Family**
Two families out of the three families previously selected in Romania, received occasional help with bills and food.
## **Reuse project**
Two vans with clothes and shoes were sent to Romania, that were distributed by a group of volunteers in collaboration with the local Council/Mayor.

Section D Achievements and performance
The Fruits and veggie box project helped around 80 individuals/families **Summary of the main** with basic food in a period when the elderly shielded and were shopping **achievements of the charity** restrictions in place. The charity collaborated with other charities and **during the year** local businesses to amplify the results and build relationships for future projects. Some of projects in Romania were partially continued due to travel restrictions.
