**return to a more stable footing, although income has**
**fallen slightly to £24,294 (cf. £29,801 in 2022/23).**
**However, overall expenditure is also lower £21,123**
**(cf. £27.823 in 2022/23). One contributory factor**
**towards this difference is that last year (2022/23), we**
**received and spent a grant of £3,600 from Milton**
**Keynes Council to hold a community celebration of**
**the King’s Coronation in May 2023.**

**Rains Retreat (Vas) programme and other events**
**enabled Milton Keynes Vihara to close the year with**
**an operating surplus of £3,171/-, leading to a current**
