The trustees present their annual report and financial ststements of the charity for
year ended 31&1 MarGh 2025. The financial statements have been prepared in
accordance with the accounting pohcies set out in note 1 to the accounts and comply
with the charity's trust deed, the Charittes Act 2011 and Accounting and Reporting by
Chartties.. Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charitles preparing
their accounts in accordan￿ with the Financial Reporbng Standard Applicable in the
UK and Republic of Ireland published (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 20191.

The objects of the CIO a￿.
To further or benefft the resi(lents of the ward of Little Hulton (Salford) and the
neighbourhood, wrthout distinction of sex, sexual orientation, ra￿ or of political,
reljgious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local
authorities. voluntary and other organisations in a commDn effort to advance
education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation 8nd
leisure time occupation with the obieciwe of improving the conditions of life for the
residenls.
In furthèrance of these objects but not otherwise. the trustees shall have power..
To establish or secure the establishment of a community *ntre and to maintain or
manage or co-operate with any statutory authorily in the Mainlenan￿ and
management of such a centre for acttvities promoted by the charty in furtheranee of
the above objecls..

There's always loads happening.
We run and manage a CommunFty Hub at The Pavilion in Peel Park.

and dedication ol our staff. volunteers. and Iruslees for every￿Ing we have
achieved lo reach OLST goal in providing well-being acttvities for the Little
Hulton in a safe, modem environment Liltle Hulton is a Community that
looks oul for one anolher. There aTe many ccmmunity organEalions in Little
Hullon working together Io Provide the best for Little Hulton. Networking and
partnership work are one of our many strengths. We are a residenl-led
organization, and we've leamed a lol along the way. Our community
research program ensurès that we gather the views. needs. and wants of
our community, giving residents a voice before we embark on a signthcant
project. We thank oll Ihe partners. CDmpanies, and organizaknns we have
worked with, who have helped us achieve our goals. Our main piece of work
now is lo raise the funds lo cot)tinue our amazing and diverse work.
On behalf of the Little Hulton community. I'rn a proud Little Hulloner_ 11 is a pleasure to work
with all the staff. trustees. and volunteers who work li￿leSS￿ to provide a wide range of well-
being actNilies that benefit the enlire local community- I bélieve that workirKJ together, we've
pul Little Hullon on the map, and with the help of our old and new partner5, we can continue
lo grow from strength lo strength.
Slgniflcant achievements in 2024-2025
In 2024-2025, with the support of the Atbert Gabay Charitable Foundation, we brought our
dream of a new community hub lo lrfe through our project to exiend and refurbish Peel Patk
Pavilion.

Ihroughout the Community Lillle Hulion. Peel Park Pavilion Project, and to the 300-plus
volunlears who came together lo build the wocden f(ame thraugh using a Wki House
system.

COMMUNITY Little Hulton Pavilion- A Great Place
'Th6 pavilion is fantastic. it5 a good place to go as quile 2 few things are going on, games
club, youth club, baby club, and sewing club. Just, lo mention a few. There are always things
lo do if you're feeling down or lonely, and all Ihe staff a￿ lovely and helpfvl. Plus, thè caf8 is
bonus to call in for a brew, and there is always someone to chat with."
The new building has quickly becomè a hub ol activty, offering a wide rarige of serVi￿S and
opportunities that are maIuro a meaningful difference in people's live5.
Youlh Club, cooking sessions. seNwng Classes. Food Club. and many more continue to
thrive, reaching more people Ihan ever before arKI supporting community wellbeing.
Wilh Ihe addition of a bike track. play area, and café. the certer offers spaces where diverse
groups of people, including families. young people, and older residents, can come together.
socialize, and have fun. This combination of recreats-onal, sorial. and well-being facilities
erisures that the (enter is aC￿ssible and beneficial to all.
The new building is not only a home for existiThJ 8eMces also a SPTingboard for rEw
opportunities.
As trustees. we are now able to engage vAth more organizations. strengthening partnerships
and expanding the range of services available to residents.
Volunteers have gained valuable catering experien￿, particularly through buffet services
offered during community events. This pradical training supporls both personal d8velopment
and employabllity.
The new gallery space allows residents lo proudty display iheir artWOTk, showcasing the
lalenl and creativity within the Little Hulton area.
As Iruslees, we are especially delighted by the ex￿lIent work of Alison and the staff
members in managing the pavilion's hmetable.
Their organization ensures the building remains busy. w91comi￿, and Mbrant. This
con8lStent fooll811 not only maximizes the benefit to the community bul also generates
incomo. which is reinvested directly into further development projects and seNices that meet
residents, needs.
The opening of the new building represents a significant mileston8 in our Charity's journey. It
is more than just a building: it is a ￿nter of wellbeing, a platfomi for crealivify, and a space
for connection. The excitement and energy surrounding it relecl the pride of our community.
Together, we arè crealing an outstanding wellbeing center Ihal continues to grow, evolve,
and make a lasting impacl on the lives of Little Hulton residents.

The Future
Transforming Ihe Pavilion has been an incredible joumey and achle¥em8nt for the Charity.
The chall8ng6 now is to ensuro it fully meets the aspirations of our community. We are also
keenly aware Ihat 750k of our funding comes through giants and contracts, arKJ a number of
these will come to an end in 26127. As a Charity. during 26r27. we wll negd to reset the
funding raft that supports Ihe Chartty's work.
