COMMUNITY Little Hulton is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation govemed by its constilution
daled 13th June 2019 and registration as a Charitable Incorporated Organisab'on (Associabon
Model) number 1183894 wrth the Charty Commission on 14 June 2019.
Appolntrnent of Trustees
At the first annual general meebng of the mwnber5 of the CIO all the charity Trustees shall ￿life
office.
At every sUbSeq￿nt annual general meeb'ng of the members of the CIO, one-third of the chanty
trustees shall retire from office. If the number of charty trustees is r￿t three or a mulb'ple of three,

At the moment our most significant projects are:
YoLrth UNITY Youth Clubs for 8-11 and 11-14 age groups
Wellbeing activities for all ages
A Food Club - reduced price food for local people affected by the cost-of-living
crisis- we served 1032 people this year
The Pavilion - we are extending The Pavilion in Peel Park to be a fantastic new
community space. There will be facilities for young people, a place for parties
and events and a cafe, it will be a place for us all to come together.
Volunteering opportunrties some of which lead to qualificab'ons in things like
first aid, food safety and youth worf(

Financlal rgview
During the charty's 12 month reporting period there was an inciease in
incjyning resources. the majority of which related to restricted gfants and
donalions.
COMMUNITY Little Hufton's Ir*crease in income, was linked to the fact that we
stepped up to support Lrttle Hulton during the Covid 19 pandemic and are
conb'nuing to support our cornmunty through the current cost of INing crisis.
The charity has also seen an increase in unrest￿ted resenfes. which will be
relained to support the deVelow￿rt of the charity goiThJ forward.
Inv•8tm•nt pow•rs and pollcy
The trustees. having re9ard lo ihe IiquKIty requirements of opefatirrfJ the charity,
have kept available funds in an account wrth Virgin Money <fO￿ertY Yorkshire Bank).
Resérves pollcy and golng concern
The balance held in unrestrl￿ed reserves at 31 st March 2024 was £81,921 of which
all are free reserves after allowing for funds tied up in fixed assets.
The Charity's main source of income is grants and charitable donakn'ons. The
Trustees consjder that rt is appropriate to P￿pare the accounts on a going concem

basis and, ￿nseqUenty. the accounts do not include any adjustments that would be
necessary if these sources of income should cease.
The Trustees aim to establish and maintsin free reserves in unrestricted fvnds al
level which equates to approximately three months of unrestricted tharrtable
expenditure. Plus, sufficb8nt rese￿eS io cover the Chan1￿ redurKlancy liabilib"es.
The trustees consider that this level will provide sufrient funds io respond to
applicats'ons for grants ar￿ ensure that support govemance costs a￿ covered.
The Trustees c¢)nsKler that the charity is a going concern. Any reliance on grant
furnling is managed through a flexible approach to activities and project delivery.
Risk management
As the charrty continues to establish itself the Trustees will condud regular ￿ViewS
of the major risks to which the charity may be exp08ed. and systems will be
eslablishe(I lo mrtDgate those nsks.

In preparing the financial statements. the trustees will be required to:
