|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|This was the second full year of the<br>recently formed Wolverley Memorial<br>Charitable Trust.<br>Despite the ongoing disruption caused by<br>the Pandemic the Charity was able to<br>continue to make available all its<br>community-valued assets in Covid ’19<br>secure environments.<br>The Charity continued to incur additional<br>Covid related costs and a loss of rental<br>income, some of which was covered by<br>financial support from local and national<br>grant funding.<br>The most significant achievement in the<br>year was the completion of the external<br>recladding work to the exterior of the<br>Memorial Hall, sustaining its future use and<br>providing a watertight and damp free<br>environment for the Hall.<br>With the benefit of a Grant from the<br>National Lottery Reaching Communities<br>Fund received in September 2021, the<br>Charity was able to start planning the work<br>to redecorate and substantially modernise<br>the interior of the Hall.|

To develop the newly formed CIO<br>following the merger with the Memorial Hall<br>Charity, including the review of policies and<br>recruitment of new staff and volunteers.<br>All these objectives were achieved.<br>Fundraising was limited to three Car Boot<br>Sale in the year because of the impact of<br>the pandemic.|
