## Structure, governance and management

Fareham Youth Partnership (FYP) is a registered charity, number 5132526, and is constituted under a Charitable Incorporated Organisation dated 19[th] April 2019. The FYP was established in November 2011 and was funded by an initial transfer of funds from Fareham Youth club funds held by Warwickshire County Council in May 2012. Over the subsequent years FYP have applied for grants to continue to fund the youth activities in Rugby.

New trustees are appointed by the existing trustees and serve for three years after which they may put themselves forward for re-appointment. The Trust constitution provides for a minimum of 3 trustees, to a maximum of 12 trustees.

At trustee meetings, the trustees agree the strategy and areas of activity for the charity, including current project, grant applications, performance and policy documents.

All Trustees give of their tie freely an no trustee renumeration was paid in the year.

## Objectives and Activities

The objectives of Fareham Youth Partnership are to help children and young people up to the age of 25, especially but not exclusively through leisure time activities, so as to develop their capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society living in Rugby.

The main activities of Fareham Youth Partnership is to commissions services for young people that are prioritised through community consultation. Our longest running project is to provide a weekly Youth Group in Hillmorton, led in conjunction with the young people from the local community and the delivery of this project is via On Track.

We are also working with other local parties to develop the GEC changing rooms into a community centre as this was identified at a previous annual GEC Fun Day where we provided an opportunity for all ages to engage in activities, network and tell us what they thought of the current offer and would like to see.

## Achievements and Performance

The Youth club project has benefitted 36 young people with the programme being delivered in the community through outreach work and centre-based youth clubs. We have concentrated on reengaging with young people whom had withdrawn from community activities through COVID and are finding social contact outside of school a challenge.

## Financial Review

Fareham Youth Partnership is entirely reliant on income from grants to fund the projects having limited resources of its own. Grants obtained are shown as restricted and are tracked accordingly Accounts
