Trustees Annual Report for 2023-2024
This last year has been an intersting one for Saataec. There has been the continuation of the link between our charity and the Jofi Modern School in The Gambia whereby training has been given to the teachers in the nursery and the primary and Upper Basic schools.
The link with Wullingkama nursery school has not worked so well as it seems the nursery is in danger of closing due to local disagreements about the running of the school.
There is hope for links with other individuals and schools in relation to furthering the use of the Gambian 'GOALS' curriculum in nursery schools in The Gambia.
All the expenditure has been for storage of the books and materials collected which will be sent to The Gambia in due course.
