To the year ending 5[th] April 2023, HEART RDA was our first season being able to offer our therapeutic services to local cohorts following COVID 19 and subsequent restrictions.

We spent time engaging cohorts, working with volunteers and delivering our services to participants, volunteers and supported volunteers.

We engaged a part-time member of staff who had previously been a volunteer and trained her to work alongside the facilitator during sessions.

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

Additional training was given in our very specific way of handling our horses.

We have also added to the variety of animals on site in order to develop our smallholding activities which will become a valuable part of the services we can offer to participants and supported volunteers.

Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information)

The Trustees and CEO are extremely grateful for the continued support from our small but growing number of volunteers. Great strides have been made to maintain the enthusiasm after COVID completed stopped the opening of the centre and put an enormous strain on all resources.

The Board of Trustees are extremely confident in the future of this Charity and the positive benefits it brings to the local community.
