OBJECTIVES AND ACTivrriES
The purpose of the charity is to promole ￿MMunity participation in healthy recreation and
provide a safe and happy environment in which children and adults can play football. The
main activities undertaken in relalion lo those purposes are lo plan fcN)Iball events and
training sessions. Both of these engaging ath"wlies following the foundation phase of
leaming to ensure every child is given the opportunty to explore and investigate through a
wide range of activities ￿lIst leaming through play. It is also a priority to promote other
charitable purposes that will be detemiined may from tirne to time and the trustees are
aware of the benefits to the community based on the guidance from the Charity Commission.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
The AFC l￿dC0ed provides an important part in the community. It provides a safe
environment for children and adults a to play football and encourages community
involvement frlyn participants.
Works are being undertaken on a new football pitd). further details below, and there is a
plan lo work in partnership with ihe I￿al schwl to ￿nStruCt a Multi Use Games area
(MUGA} in the grounds of the club siie.
The work on the new pitch is due to be completed by Summer 2025 in lime for the new
season
FINANCWL REVIEW
During the year Lotto continued to be our main source of In￿Me
The Club made a small rKofit in 2023124 and the club f¢x)tball piich was out of use from
February 2024 due to work being undertaken on a new prtch in accordance with regulations
in respect of pitch size. Extemal funding has been secured to finance the construction of the
new pitch and £45k of the grant has been recetved in advance of making contract paymenls.
This furKling is included in the Restricted Reserve balance to be used in 2024125 financial
year.
STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
AFC Llwydcoed is a registered charty. The registration number is 1183841 and was
registered on 11 June 2019. The nature of the goveming document is constitution. the
trustees are appointed during our annual AGM and the charity is committee run and
voluntary. The Trustees a￿ ￿sponsible for keeping proper accounting records thal disck)se
with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charily to enable them to
ensure that the financial statements comply the Charities Act 2011 and AFC
Llywdcoed's conslitution.

I rewrt to Ihe trustees on my examination of the accounts of the AFC
Llwydcoed for the year ended 31$1 May 2024
As the charity's Irustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with ihe requirements of the Charities Ad 2011
(Ihe Act-).
I report in respect of my examinalion of the Trust's aco)unts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination. I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 14515)Ib) of the Act.
I have completed my examination. I ￿nfIrM that no material matters have
come to my attention in connedion with Ihe examinalion which gives me
cause to believe that in. any material respec1=
the accounting ￿COrdS We￿ not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charities Act: or
the accounts did not ac(x)rd vAlh the accounting records.. or
the accounts did nol comply wilh the applicable requirements
conceming the fomi and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(Accounts and RepJrts) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a 'true and fair, view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concems and have come across no other matters in connection
with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in
order to enable a proper understanding of the aco)unts to be reached.
