Report
As in 2022-2023, the Trustees continued to search for new Trustees to assist in restarting the
tivities of the charity but were again unsuccessful in getting the commitment required.
Activities were not restarted, therefore.
The Trustee's view is that charity should be wound up and scheduled a meeting for July 2024 t

Public Benefit
To further or benefit the residents of Bramcote Stapleford and the neighbourhood, without
distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race of political, religious or other opinions by associating
together the said residents and the local authorities. Voluntary and other organisations in a
common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare
for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life
for the residents. In furtherance of these objects but not otherwise, the trustees shall have
power: to establish or secure the establishment of a community centre and to maintain or
manage or co-operate with any statutory authority in the maintenance and management of
such a centre for activities promoted by the charity in furtherance of the above objects.
Structure, Governance and Management
Governance
The Bramcote and Stapleford Community Hub was constituted as a Charitable Incorporated
Organisation on 11 June 2019; before that date, the Bramcote HilLs Park Community Cafe CIC
existed as a registered body which had commenced on 30 April 2016.
The trustees who have served during the period and since commencement are set out on page
5. None of the trustees, nor any person connected to them, has received any paid remuneration
from the Charity in the year to 30 June 2024.
The power to appoint trustees is vested in existing trustees. Apart from the first Charity trustees,
every trustee must be appointed for a term of three years by resolution passed at a properly
convened meeting of the Charity trustees. All major decisions, including those of a financial
nature, are made by the Board of Trustees at their meetings.
Appointing of Trustees
Trustees are appointed through the unanimous voting of the Board of Trustees. The Board of
Trustees is made up of members who demonstrate the commitment and ability to contribute
vaLuabLe skills towards the running of the charity. Trustees are appointed for 3 years.
Finance
The attached financial statements show the current state of the Charity's finances which the
committee considers to be sound.

Reserves
Bramcote and Stapleford Community Hub will raise money to build and develop its facilities
which will be set aside for this purpose. This will be separate from the Charity's general
reserve

Notes to the Accounts
1. Basis of Preparation and Assessment of Going Concern
The accounts (financial statements) have been prepared in accordance with Accounting and
Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing
their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and
Republic of Ireland (FRS102) effective on l January 2019, the Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS I02), and the Charities Act 2011. Assets and
liabilities are initially recognised at historical cost or transaction value unless otherwise stated
in the relevant accounting policy note{s).
The accounts (financial statements) have been prepared to give a 'true and fair, view and have
departed from the Charities {Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 only to the extent
required to provide a 'true and fair, view. This departure has involved following the Accounting
and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities
preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the
UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS I02) rather than the Accounting and Reporting by Charities:
Statement of Recommended Practice effective from 1 April 2005, which has since been
withdrawn.
The charity constitutes a public benefit entity as defined by FRS 102.
The trustees consider that there are no material uncertainties about the charity's ability to
continue as a going concern.
The accounts are presented in Sterling £.
a) Income
This is accounted for on a receivable purpose in the period which it is received.
b) Payments
These are accounted for as paid.
2. Accountancy Charges
There were no accountancy charges.

3. Taxation
The Charitable Trust is exempt from Corporation Tax on its charitable activities.
4. All monies currently held are unrestricted in their application.
5. Emoluments ofTrustees
No emoluments were received by the Trustees in their capacity as Trustees.
There were no other emoluments or expenses paid to any charity Trustees or person connected
with such a Trustee directly or indirectly from the funds of the charity.
6. The Trustees confirm, in accordance with the Charitable Incorporated Organisations
(General) Regulations 2012, that at year end the Charitable Incorporated Organisation did not
have any outstanding guarantees to third parties nor any debts secured on assets of the
Charitable Incorporated Organisation.
