The advancement of health by preventing avoidable blindness and assisting disabled people to lead independent lives or manage health issues. |

The Charity and its Members have given both physical and financial support to local disabled/autistic children to attend a Summer Camp, a 5 day Butlins Holiday event and day trips for needy children plus weekly assistance at a local Sailability Club and a group of Craft Club members. Donations have been made to a local Care Home, Adult Care Centre, a children’s Football training club, Fitness for the elderly club, local ATC cadets and Guide Dogs for the Blind. Members have also donated to Sleaford Food Bank, National Poppy Appeal, a local Talking Newspaper group and McMillan Cancer Care. The Club purchased a special reclining chair for a terminally ill new mother, a special tandem disability scooter and helped a local man to purchase a stairlift. Further donations were made through the Lions International Foundation towards relief appeals for the Mississippi Tornado, Turkey/Syria earthquakes and Puerto Rico |
| and Pakistan floods. Some 3,000 pairs of used spectacles were recycled world-wide. |
