On behalf of the Board of Trustees I am providing a statement for the 2023 annual return. 

Following COVID, we have found it increasingly difficult to operate our charity where we help the general public in the East Midlands to become better drivers. Specifically the number of people interested in advanced driving has dwindled to single figures for the year. Consequently we are not in a position to continue this charity so we are starting the process of closing the charity (number 1183792). 

Prior to COVID, we were operating as a unincorporated charity and the plan was to move to the charitable incorporated organisation this letter refers to. Because of the situation outlined above, we are remaining as an unincorporated charity and this is the reason for wanting to close charity 1183792.
