|-|Magnus Anyanwu was appointed as|
|---|---|
||a representative in Nigeria|
||He has been appointed as a|
||representative for Achieve Africa in|
||Nigeria. He is a student who helps to|
||mobilise young people and carries|
||out little projects of Achieve Africa|
||which benefits children and young|
||people. He is constantly updating us|
||with his periodic reports.|
|-|Donation to Lawrence Ohaeri|
||Achieve Africa, as part of our|
||support to young disabled and/or|
||disadvantaged Africans have come|
||across a classical example of|
||someone who meets our supporting|
||criteria. He is Mr Lawrence Chigbo|
||Ogueri. He lost his sight while he|
||was in secondary school due to poor|
||health and medical access. This|
||didn’t stop him. He attended special|
||school for the blind to complete his|
||secondary education; obtained his|
||First degree and Masters|
||programmes in one of the|
||universities in Nigeria. It was at this|
||point we encountered him. He|
||approached Achieve Africa and|
||requested to be sponsored for his|
||PhD programme in the University of|
||Nigeria Nsuka. According to him,|
||this would give him the rare chance,|
||as a visually impaired young man, to|
||get a job, especially, a lecturing job|
||in the university. This will also place|
||him in a  position to support other|
||physically challenged young people|
||in his situation, especially in the|
||areas of advocacy.|

Mr Lawrence Ogueri was granted a full scholarship by Achieve Africa for at least four years, which started last years, 2022.
