equipment and to fund PPE and other costs associated with re-opening our sessions. We were successfully awarded two grants in excess of £1,400 combined and were able to purchase furniture specially designed for early years education, as well as items needed for the safe reopening of sessions that mitigate the risk of COVID-19 to our members. We regard this as one of our primary achievements in the past year. We also kept in touch digitally with our members through social media, which many appreciated and benefited from during the nationwide lockdowns. Our following on social media grew and therefore awareness of the group was also increased. This meant we were able to retain and gain new members despite the challenges of COVID-19.
